Technical Specifications
Each CACTI® spike unit consists of impact-resistant Nylon 6 segments mounted on a plastic tube with an internal high tensile steel rod for structural strength. Large and small spikes alternate along the length, separated by CACTI® washers. A fixing bracket is included every metre and can be tack-welded for added security.
Brackets are supplied galvanised as standard, with optional painting or powder coating available on request.
Note: It is strongly recommended that CACTI® spikes are installed at a minimum height of 2.1 metres above ground level. Adequate consideration must be given to visibility, accessibility, and the surrounding environment. Appropriate CACTI® warning signs should always be displayed.
